With Acrobat DC, ongoing updates are included so you always have the most recent version of Acrobat software with the newest product innovations and tools for desktop and mobile. “Acrobat DC 2019” is the current subscription version of Acrobat. “Acrobat 2017” is the most recent perpetual desktop version of Acrobat – in other words, not the latest release. For more information, see: What Is the Document Cloud?Īcrobat continues as a desktop product in both Pro or Standard editions, and is available either via subscription or with a perpetual (one-time purchase) license. At the heart of Document Cloud is Acrobat DC – the industry standard for creating, sharing and editing PDFs – which was completely rearchitected for the initial DC 2015 milestone release several years ago. This reader is the greatest PDF reader for my Win desktop PC ever, I wish there was a version for my Android tablet that was as marvelous and as functionable as the desktop version.Adobe Acrobat DC 2019 is now shipping! If you hadn’t heard by now, “DC” stands for Document Cloud, which is Adobe’s set of integrated online services to help customers better manage critical documents. The list is pretty long and most are loaded, but I would like to now where to get plugins, how to install and activate and control them, and so on for the DC reader so that I can control what is available etc. I cannot find any info on how to find, load, unload, actyivate, or whatever in the Help files. Some of them seem to be loaded at some times but not loaded at other times, and there is no control or function that I can see. But some of them are shown as loaded and some are shown as not loaded, such as the DRM plugin for example. The info window for this topic shows a collection of Adobe Plugins that (I guess) came with my install of the software.

I am puzzled regarding how to load Adobe plugins that are listed in the Digital Edition Help menu selection "About Adobe Plugins".
